Meet the Team

About Monty James

Monty got involved in real estate mortgage lending in the early 1990s and began his career as a Realtor in 2001.  He has personally invested in real estate, buying, managing and selling many of his own properties before and during his real estate career.  He has helped hundreds of clients do the same.  This extensive personal experience has allowed him to apply a streamlined approach to his clients’ buying and selling processes, allowing for smoother transactions.

Monty attends 100% of his clients’ home inspections, has conducted hundreds of open houses and has toured thousands of properties in San Diego County. His unique combination of experience and education provides him with the expertise to make the home buying or selling process as enjoyable as possible for his clients.

Monty loves working in a dynamic community with an exceptionally sophisticated and diverse population. When a client decides to purchase a home in the area, he enjoys guiding that person through such an important and exciting process--whether it is a first time buyer, a serious investor or a veteran home owner. When it comes time to relocate out of this area or move across town, he looks forward to helping his clients get top dollar for their homes, while also working to ensure that each transaction progresses smoothly and expeditiously.

Monty is a native of Vista, CA and an alumnus of both UC Santa Barbara and the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Finance respectively.  His biggest passion is providing community service in both Southern California and northern Mexico.  He presently supports the Tijuana orphanage run by the Sisters of Charity (Mother Teresa’s Order), teaches a class at Mesa College and serves in the California State Military Reserve.

Throughout her career, Marion has always had a genuine interest in Real Estate.  After profitably buying and selling several places of her own, she decided to formally enter the business.  Like everything else, her career in Real Estate has been stellar.  In four years as a part-time agent, she has completed numerous transactions and 100% of her clients are satisfied with her work.  As in all her business and personal dealings, Marion values integrity and honesty above all.  Her clients appreciate this and continually come back to her.

Marion is a mother of three and an active member of Ohr Shalom Temple.  She donates her time and resources to organizations that teach children how to get along in a diverse, global society.  Her oldest son is involved in a program which puts 10 Jewish Israelis, 10 Bedouins, 10 Arabs and 10 Jewish kids from San Diego together.  They live and travel together, starting in San Diego and finishing in Israel.  This is just an example of the values Marion shares and wants for youngsters today.  To contact Marion, click here or call 619-778-6585.
